What are Interdisciplinary Programs?

Our interdisciplinary programs combine multiple fields of study into one academic discipline or area of specialization. By drawing on knowledge and methods from subjects such as sociology, psychology, or economics, to name a few, you gain a broader perspective and deeper understanding of today's society.

Interdisciplinary programs at Lehigh's College of Arts and Sciences break boundaries. Each program brings together faculty and students from across colleges and departments to investigate specific areas of interest. We offer a variety of undergraduate majors and minors, a number of graduate certificates, and a master's program.

Whether you're passionate about blending arts and sciences, integrating technology and humanities, or exploring unique cross-disciplinary fields, our programs are tailored to you.
