The Día de los Muertos event (5x10) is being organized by the Latin American and Latino Studies Program in collaboration with several student organizations: ALPFA, Fuerza Mexicana, Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Latino Students Alliance, Phi Sigma Chi Multicultural Fraternity, and the Spanish Club.

Various interactive stations will be available, offering opportunities for reflection on ancestral legacy, the creation of papel picado (traditional paper decorations), and face painting, emphasizing the cultural significance of different colors used in the celebration. Attendees will also contribute to a collaborative ofrenda (altar) by bringing photographs of loved ones to honor the deceased. A photo booth will be available for participants to capture event memories, and traditional Día de los Muertos music will provide a cultural soundtrack.
